What makes Cleeve Common ‘special’? Why does it look the way it does? Who owns it? How is it managed?
If you’ve ever wondered about these and similar questions, come along to a talk by members of Cleeve Common staff, with lots of wonderful pictures. It's in the Bishops Cleeve Community Centre, next to the Library, on Tuesday 11 April at 7.30pm. Refreshments available from 7.00pm for a small charge.
The talk will last about an hour, after which there will be time for questions. We will discuss the landscape and history of Cleeve Common, its flowers and wildlife, how it is managed today, current conservation and education projects, recreational activities – and much more.
And the good news is that this event is FREE - but please register for tickets, so we know how many to expect.
