Sheep on the Common

There are now sheep and lambs on all parts of Cleeve Common.  If you are walking a dog, it must be under control at all times and on a lead when near livestock.   Make sure you shut all gates behind you.

Please note that Cleeve Common Trust does not own any of the sheep.  Their welfare is the responsibility of the local farmers who either have Commoners' grazing rights or are permitted to put sheep out.  Our Rangers do however monitor the sheep and report any problems to the owner.  If you come across anything untoward, please call our Ranger on 07756 828 458 and we will pass the message on.
