Arthur Ball celebrates 25 years and 3000 miles walked whilst volunteering on Cleeve Common
Arthur celebrates volunteering for Cleeve Common Trust for 25 years this February, as he completed his monthly bird count over the hill. Arthurs’s monthly reports are compiled, by him, into an annual report. Which have allowed us to build up a fascinating in-depth record of the bird populations here, and help guide further conservation decisions we make.
Below Arthur explains in his own words how it all started, and why he continues. From us, a huge thank you for this invaluable work.
